There are many myths about how important the depth of hypnosis for the outcome of the session is.
And so, many hypnotists when they begin their, career struggle and worry if they were abel to help their clients because they are very unsure.
Different schools teach different philosophies. Some claim the client has to be very deep for the hypnosis to take effect. Others teach that the outcome of the hypnosis sessions is not related to the depth of hypnosis.
However, are those claims really founded in solid research?
The neurologist Dr. John Butler shares with us his perspective, which is founded on nearly 40 years of clinical practice with hypnosis and the scientific research that has been done over the years.
